Free hearing test are divided into categories. The most common categories of hearing loss classifications are mild, moderate, severe and profound hearing loss. Definition

Types of hearing loss

A hearing loss can be conductive or sensorineural. A type of sensorineural hearing loss is called a age-related hearing loss also known as Presbyacusis. If there are problems with conducting sound to the inner ear and the hair cells in the inner ear are damaged at the same time, it is called a mixed hearing loss.
